Branding Design
Rebranding of Wellington Management
Design for Wellington Management Company, LLP, an international investment management firm. I came to work at Wellington with the express purpose of rebranding the privately held firm. This centerpiece marketing brochure was used with a suite of other sales materials. There are also UK- and US-sized fact sheets below that extended the brand. At the time, Wellington had almost 500 billion dollars in client assets under management.

After conducting marketing research, we arrived at the three most important branding points: Wellington's people, emphasis on international reach, and investment technology.

Branding Design for Olelo
Olelo (o-lÄ“’-lo), adv. Verbatim; in a verbal manner; orally. Olelo is a company that developed an app for captioned calls, meaning the hearing-impaired user gets an on-the-fly transcript of what is being said to them on the other end of the line. I did some branding design for trade show materials, social media ads, Apple Store and Google Plus ad panels, and other assorted material. I also designed the green O icon for the app itself.

Google Panel Ads
Olelo social media ads with an expanded color palette. A variety of sizes and configurations, targeting the audience on a community/industry website for the hearing impaired.

Social Media Ads for the US DOT
Social media ads for the Training Provider Registry under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Simple ads to encourage carriers to register with the agency. These layouts follow the brand set in place by the design director.

US DOT Vulnerability Assessment Publication
Design and layout for the Federal Highway Safety Administration, under the US Department of Transportation. A guidebook to help transportation agencies and their partners assess the vulnerability of transportation infrastructure and systems to extreme weather and climate effects. I couldn't lean too far towards negative subject matter on the cover. The optimal emotional resonance would be a sense of preparedness in the face of dangerous weather conditions.

Meet Volpe Brochure
A marketing brochure for the Volpe Center. The US Department of Transportation (US DOT) established the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center in 1970 to serve as a federal resource positioned to provide world-renowned, multidisciplinary, multimodal transportation expertise on behalf of the US DOT operating administrations, the Office of the Secretary, and external organizations.

Research, Development, and Technology Strategic Plan
Covers for the RD&T Strategic Plan, which is a report that presents research priorities for the next five years and describes the activities taken by the US DOT to address those priorities. The final printed booklet is delivered to Congress. The priorities are broken down into critical transportation topic areas and intersect where appropriate with established primary purposes for the research being done.

Pro Bono Design for Industrial Theatre
The Industrial Theatre was a local troupe that performed in a variety of venues in the area such as Harvard University, the Columbia Cultural Center Amphitheater, and the DeCordova Museum. Industrial Theatre performed both original plays and established classics like Romeo and Juliet, seen below. I volunteered to design materials for a number of their productions. I did the illustration and design work for this poster.
